Delavan man allegedly steals firearms

A 33-year-old Delavan man faces felony charges after allegedly breaking into a town of Darien residence and stealing about 20 firearms. Aubrey W. Dahl, 526 Bowers Blvd. Apt. 4, faces felony charges of burglary while arming himself with a dangerous weapon, theft of movable property and possession of a firearm by a felon. All three charges have been elevated to repeater status because Dahl has previous convictions of armed robbery, kidnapping, false imprisonment and bail jumping.

Walworth man faces heroin charge

September 15, 2011
A 54-year-old Walworth man faces a felony charge of possession of heroin with intent to deliver after police allegedly found him with 2.11 grams of the drug. Steven D. Adams, 124 Plafield Ct., Apt. A, also has been charged with misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. If convicted of the felony charge, he faces up to 12-1/2 years imprisonment and $25,000 in fines.
