Rent/shelter = $28,053.06

Thanks to the Fox Charities Matching Grant, and your generosity, we prevented homelessness for 28 families, senior citizens and handicapped fellow creations. We paid for emergency housing in motels for people living on the streets or in their cars during this harsh winter. We paid overdue rent for single mothers with children. We helped senior citizens and working poor families that were dealing with medical emergencies or job loss. This desperately needed housing was all provided by Fox Charities and your donations.

Utilities = $5,700 total of: Gas: $3,000; Electricity: $2,700;

Thanks to the Fox Charities Matching Grant, and your generosity, we paid for gas and electric utilities for senior citizens, the handicapped and for the nearly homeless. When I visit and find our fellow creations living in winter coats, the lights are off and a chill is in the air, I know they are unable to pay their utility bills. Together we raised the thermostats to warm the cold children and elderly. God Bless you for helping.

Food = $7,841.95

Thanks to the Fox Charities Matching Grant, and your generosity, many fellow creations will not go hungry. We again offered assistance to the W.C. Food Pantry for their outstanding mission of providing food for the hungry. Food continues to be scarce for our food banks and food pantries. The W.C. Food Pantry provides nutritious food for its recipients thanks to Jim and Ardith Drescher and all their God loving volunteers. We also provided emergency food assistance with gift cards and emergency volunteer food deliveries.

Transportation = $3,404.99

Thanks to the Fox Charities Matching Grant, and your generosity, three single mothers' cars were repaired to good, safe working order. We also assisted with gas vouchers for many people struggling to have enough gas to get to work. The working poor, people with jobs that do not make enough to survive, are being very hard hit financially in our Great Country.

Medical assistance = $5,000

Thanks to the Fox Charities Matching Grant, and your generosity, we provided assistance to the Open Arms Free Clinic. This recently opened free clinic provides medical care for the uninsured, low-income residents of Walworth County. The clinic provides primary and preventative health care, chronic disease management, labs, x-rays, prescription medication, medical specialist referral, and health education free of charge. We continue to find our poverty stricken fellow Americans living without or unable to afford medical care. Illness is a cause of much poverty in our great country. Our assistance to Open Arms Free Clinic will help to alleviate some of the pain and suffering of living in poverty, while enduring a health condition, in our communities. God bless all the doctors, nurses and other volunteers giving of their time and talents to ease the pains of illness for the poverty stricken.

Grand Total: $50,000

As you can see every penny you donated, along with the Fox Charities matching funds, went to assist the poverty stricken. The funds were used to help the poverty stricken with the daily necessities of life: shelter, utilities, food, transportation, and medical assistance.

As we bring the Fox Charities $25,000 Matching Grant to a close, we are happy to announce a new matching grant opportunity. The Summertime Foundation has again offered a $10,000 Matching Grant to begin immediately. For every dollar you donate it will be matched by another, doubling the help provided to those in desperate need. We feel so blessed to be supported by such loyal God loving people. Thank you to the Summertime Foundation and "you" for again supporting our mission of caring and sharing.

Together, we will continue to replace the fear, pain and suffering of poverty, with compassion, healing, Caring and Sharing with our hearts to change lives. Thank you for helping us achieve good works for those in desperate need.

Health and happiness,

God bless everyone,

W.C./Sal

My dear friends:

The W.C. Food Pantry needs your help. Due to the drought food supplies have been scarce. Our communities have been very blessed by the dedication and hard work of Jim and Ardith Drescher, and the many volunteers that help to feed the hungry. At the end of this month the W.C. Food Pantry will lose its food storage at the Trostel warehouse. The Trostel storage facility was graciously donated by Trostel for many months, but now they are reopening their business. Jim Drescher has asked me to ask all of you to please network together to find a storage facility for the food. Presently the W.C. Food Pantry location has outgrown its facility. This is due to the great amount of people that are in need of food. If you know of any buildings that you think would be suitable please contact us. Thank you for your caring and sharing.

We are so happy to announce we have met the Fox Charities $25,000 Matching Grant. Their generous support has been greatly appreciated by The Time Is Now to Help and all the people we help. Many lives have been touched by both the Fox Charities and Your kindness and compassion coming together through The Time Is Now to Help.

Thank you to Fox Charities and all of you for your continued faith and support of our mission, removing the pains of poverty. I was reassured how the matching grant breakdown columns were being received. Many donors have commented how they enjoy them the most. When I asked why, they said it showed our accountability and all the good works we were doing together. In that spirit, here is how every penny of your donations, matched by the Fox Charities $25,000 Matching Grant was spent = $50,000 in assistance. God bless all of you for caring and sharing for those in desperate need.
