The Summertime Foundation $10,000 Matching Grant = $20,000 in Poverty Assistance

A big heartfelt "thank you" to everyone that contributed to The Summertime Foundation $20,000 Matching Grant.

This matching grant enabled us to provide $20,000 in assistance to many struggling poverty stricken fellow Americans.

Your donations, combined with The Summertime Foundation's generous matching funds, kept many from homelessness, loss of transportation, lack of heat and lights, hunger, and daily necessities for our fellow creations. "Thank You" for your continued support of our mission,The Time Is Now to Help, and thank you for caring and sharing.

Together we have eased the pains of poverty for many. God bless you for helping.

Rent = $9,025

We assisted several people already evicted and on the verge of eviction, with emergency housing assistance. Two young mothers with newborn babies were safely housed in motels rather than living in their cars in the cold winter. A senior citizen couple was safely housed in a motel as well. A single mother with severe health problems was provided several months rent to help her during this both financially and physically trying time. A young working poor family was provided first month's rent and security deposit so they would not end up homeless.

Many families, senior citizens and single mothers were suffering through very trying times due to job loss, wages and hours cut, and health conditions. We, "Together", prevented their continuing suffering and fear of homelessness.

Utilities = $2,183.80

Gas: $1,383.80 + Electric: $800

We helped several handicapped individuals, cancer patients, single parents, and struggling senior citizens bring their gas and electric bills up to date. Many were being overly frugal to the point of living in the dark and leaving their thermostats too low, to try and keep their bills down. Your kindness and generosity prevented overwhelming hardship for these fellow Americans.

Food = $4,832.15

We provided emergency food assistance to many families living with empty refrigerators and cupboards.

Unemployment and illness also affect many families' abilities to provide food for their children and themselves. Senior citizens go hungry in order to pay for rent and prescription medications. We also provided assistance to the W.C. Food Pantry that feeds many of our fellow creations each week. Together, we have eased the pain of hunger for many.

Transportation = $2,993.85

We provided car repairs through Mike's Auto Repair for a senior citizen that was suffering due to lack of transportation. We registered several donated vehicles. We also assisted many people with gas cards. Gas prices continue to be very high and it is a struggle for all our fellow Americans to pay for gas to get to work. All the help we provided removed the stress of not being able to get to work, possibly losing their jobs, and other day to day necessities such as: getting food, medical care, school, etc. Thank you for making this assistance possible through your generous support of The Time Is Now to Help.

Toiletries = $965.20

We all know how expensive toilet paper, diapers, feminine hygiene products, tooth paste, soap, shampoo, etc. have become. When you can barely afford rent and food, toiletries are the first thing to go. I continue to find babies without enough diapers, fellow Americans without toilet paper, children without toothpaste and toothbrushes, shampoo, soap... Thanks to your generosity, matched by The Summertime Foundations $10,000 Matching Grant, we were able to provide these items for our fellow creations living without.

Total = $20,000

The Time Is Now to Help, and the many families, seniors, handicapped, and children we helped, are extremely thankful for all "You" have provided.

I always tell our recipients that the assistance The Time Is Now to Help provides is all done by all of "You" who support our mission of Caring and Sharing, removing the pains and suffering of poverty.

Every penny you donated, 100 percent, has been put to work to assist the poverty stricken with the daily necessities of life: food, utilities (gas and electric), shelter and transportation.. Together we were able to make a remarkable difference in all the lives we touched. I thank all of "You", and the providers of The Summertime Foundation $10,000 Matching Grant, for your support to The Time Is Now to Help. Together we make a big difference doing our good works of God.

Health and happiness,

God bless everyone,
