Dear friends,

The busy summer season is flying by with continuous requests for help and providing assistance.

We are again limited in our ability to help by our lack of funding.

As much as our hearts would love to answer every plea for help, we just do not have the ability to do so.

Many people wonder why we do not answer every request with a letter or phone call. We just do not have the time or budget to do so.

Our time each week is used as efficiently as possible to continue our mission of bringing life changing assistance to those most in need, and we have done this for the past 25 years.

While our organization has changed some over the years, mostly to accommodate new technologies and regulations, the needs of the poverty stricken and our mission remain the same.

We continue to see homeless veterans, hungry senior citizens, the handicapped living without basic needs, working poor families living without utilities and/or on the verge of eviction.

Twenty-five years ago Sal saw a great need in our great country that he felt compelled to try to alleviate.

Does our assistance still make a difference in the lives that are given a helping hand?

Here are some of the recent thank you notes we have received that show the gratitude for The Time Is Now to Help and all of you.

Dear The Time Is Now to Help,

No words could express the weight you have lifted off me. Your kindness is very much appreciated. You are all angels to me. Thank you.

Dear The Time Is Now to Help,

Sal, just wanted to thank you for fixing my car! You are truly an amazing organization and a gift to society. I pray for and think of you daily.

Dear The Time Is Now to Help,

I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping my family and I — you are a God-sent angel — I know I didn’t believe before that anything positive could come out of my situation but you showed me that there is a light at the end of the tunnel... I am forever grateful to you for what you did for me.

Dear The Time Is Now to Help,

I have tears in my eyes now writing this to The Time Is Now, I am so very grateful for the help. I cannot tell you how deeply I so appreciate this. I thank you immensely for being there for the people in need. I now know the hope and relief they feel when this organization reaches out and helps. God bless and thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Dear The Time Is Now to Help,

There are no words to express how incredibly grateful and thankful I am today. Thank you so much for relieving some of our worries. I have been praying for a miracle and today God brought me one! God bless!

I have been in a state of shock since you left our apartment. I never knew there was an organization like yours. Thank you to all that are involved with this organization. We will continue to pray as we have been and remain grateful that we still have a roof over our heads thanks to The Time Is Now and those who donate to you.

Dear The Time Is Now to Help,

We want to thank you for your help with our car today. It is so much safer now. I can drive my husband for his cancer treatments without worrying that our car may not start or breakdown on the way there, or even worse on the way home while he is feeling so poorly. You have lightened our load during a very stressful time. God bless all of you.

Dear The Time Is Now to Help,

I just wanted to say “Thank You So Much!” You recently donated a beautiful new bed to my son that has special needs and many health problems. He really needed this bed so badly. I was at a loss for words and even cried because your gift made me so happy. God bless all of you! You made my son very happy and it was nice to finally see him smile.

Dear The Time Is Now to Help,

I can finally see light at the end of the tunnel. I was living in constant pain and was too sick to work before you sent me to the dentist.

It turns out I could have died from the massive infection I could not afford to have treated. I am beyond grateful for your help and concern over my family’s well-being.

The utility check was also greatly appreciated. We were on the verge of disconnection and then you surprised me with this check. I never even asked for this help and then my prayers were answered when you showed up on my doorstep. I never even heard of an organization like The Time Is Now to Help until my sister told me she had written you a letter in my behalf. I just wanted to let you know how grateful I am and we are all so thankful for the guidance and assistance you brought to our family.

These are just a few of the recent thank you notes we have received that we felt needed to be shared with all of you. This assistance would not have been possible if not for your generous support. Every penny of your donation is used to provide food, shelter, transportation assistance, utility assistance, toiletries, clothing, dental care and much more. We do not use your donations to pay for salaries, office space, equipment, reimbursements, office supplies, postage or any other expense.

The assistance this week has included a young lady requesting help for her family that is suffering a setback due to her parents many health problems, a single mother homeless with two children after a fire destroyed all their belongings, a single father with children not able to make ends meet after an illness, a senior citizen skipping meals and medications in order to save enough money to pay for her eye surgery and glasses, a car repair for a single mother trying to maintain her new employment after losing her job due to endless car trouble... The needs of the fellow creations in our communities are many.

They would be overwhelming if it was not for all of you standing with us in this effort to bring assistance to those in need. Just knowing you are there to help us makes our work not only easier, but possible.

My dear friends, poverty is causing great pain among our fellow creations. Let us stand together and continue our good works of removing the pains of poverty. God bless all of you for helping those in desperate need.

Health and Happiness,

God bless everyone,

W.C./Sal
