November 15, 2011 | 04:56 PMA 28-year-old Lake Geneva woman was sentenced Nov. 11 to two years in a state prison after pleading guilty to her fifth drunk driving offense.
Lindsay A. White, 816 Kendall Lane, also was sentenced to three years of extended supervision. She will have to serve 70 hours of community service and pay $4,800 in fines.
For the next three years, her driver's license will be revoked and an ignition interlock will be installed into her vehicle.
According to the criminal complaint:
Two citizen witnesses told police they saw White operate her vehicle on Kendall Lane north of Conant Street at about 12:20 p.m. When police spoke to White, she had a strong odor of intoxicants coming from her, her eyes were glassy, her speech was slurred and she was unable to keep her balance.
White admitted to police that she was drinking. She has previous convictions for drunken driving offenses that occurred on March 11, 2008; July 22, 2009, Sept. 18, 2009 and Sept. 26, 2009.
