December 27, 2011 | 06:15 PMA 19-year-old Lyons man faces multiple felony charges in two Wisconsin counties for sexually assaulting a child younger than 13.
In Walworth County, Brandon J. Collins, 5902 Christine Court, has been charged with first-degree sexual assault and sexual assault of a child under the age of 16.
If convicted, he faces up to 100 years imprisonment and $100,000 in fines.
On Sept. 1, Collins touched a 12-year-old girl in a car parked in front of the Ye Old Hotel Bar and Restaurant, which is located in the town of Lyons.
On Dec. 1, the girl reported the sexual assault to police.
In Racine County, Collins faces three felony charges of second-degree sexual assault of a child, one count of repeated sexual assault of the same child causing harm and one count of bail jumping. In two separate cases in Racine County, Collins also faces felony charges of bail jumping and second-degree recklessly endangering safety.
