WALWORTH — Two Walworth residents who were allegedly dealing heroin were arrested after a four-month investigation by the Walworth County Sheriff's Office.

Alan D. Messier, 27, and Bethany A. Adler, 22, were arrested during a Dec. 22 traffic stop in the town of Walworth.

The arrests stem from law enforcement spending numerous hours of surveillance on the pair and using a confidential informant to purchase heroin from them, according to a Dec. 23 press release from the Walworth County Drug Enforcement Unit.

Messier was arrested on three counts of delivering heroin, seven counts of delivering heroin as a party to a Crime, possession of heroin with intent to deliver and possession of MDMA (ecstasy) with intent to deliver.

Adler was arrested on seven counts of delivering heroin. All of the charges have been referred to the Walworth County District Attorney's Office.

It's truly a shame to be selling drugs...but look at this guy, selling drugs is all he can probably do to make a living. I sure wouldn't want this guy representing my company, looking the way he does! I mean really?!?!? could you take someone with their FACE tattooed like this serious?!!?!??

I knew "Alan" growing up in Lake Geneva, only he doesn't like being called Alan; goes by J.R.; which is why it is funny that he is listed as Alan. He was nothing but a bully and a crook. If he was not ripping people off trying to be a drug dealer he would try to rob local drug dealers. POS used to pick on me all the time until I finally stood up to him, wouldn't fight because like most bullies he is a coward. That being said, he is also very stupid and may try to prove how tough he really is by brandishing or using a firearm or other weapon. Best bet if you run into this guy after his jail term is to have nothing to do with him at all. Beware, also has a brother named Jessie; basically the same type of activity and atitude. Do not associate with these people unless you want to be beat up, stolen from, ripped off, or end up in jail like our friend Alan.

I agree with the other statements and feel this man child deserves whatever punishment the judge sees fit. I was around when this man (probably 17 at the time) pushed a younger kid (around 13 or 14) down two flights of steps to steal 60 dollars of drug money. That is the type he is... risk serious bodily injury on a younger weaker person for the cost of a nice steak dinner.
