Man receives three years on seventh OWI

A 52-year-old Linn Township man was sentenced Dec. 27 to three years in prison after he pleaded guilty to his seventh drunken driving offense.

Ricky A. Coss, W3236 Willow Road, also was sentenced to five years of extended supervision and must pay a $600 fine.

According to the criminal complaint:

Police arrested Coss for drunken driving on March 12 in Bloomfield Township.

Coss showed the following signs of intoxication poor driving, strong odor of alcohol, slurred speech and he admitted to drinking. Coss has previous convictions for drunken driving on Feb. 3, 1991; May 20, 1993; Dec. 16, 1993; Aug. 8, 1995; June 7, 1998 and Jan. 27, 2006.
