A 32-year-old Lake Geneva man was sentenced June 29 to five years of probation after he pleaded guilty to two counts of delivering heroin.

As a condition of probation, Michael J. Fischer, 1163 S. Wells St. Apt. 12, will spend one year in jail with work-release privileges.

In a separate case, Fischer pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of hit and run. He was ordered to pay $7,235 in restitution.

Several other charges — misdemeanor bail jumping and possession of drug paraphernalia — were dismissed but read into the record.
