August 05, 2014 | 03:44 PMWILLIAMS BAY — Jim Pfeil, president of the Williams Bay School Board confirmed by email Tuesday morning that Rebecca Boggs resigned from the school board.
Her resignation was believed to have been accepted about a week ago, although Pfeil’s message didn’t specify the exact date her resignation took effect.
Pfeil gave the following statement statement on Bogg’s resignation:
“I’d like to thank Becky for her hard work over the past two years. She was a great asset to this board and will be missed. Her thoughtfulness and ability to debate all sides of any issue made us a better board and a better district. We now look forward to the process of naming a replacement getting back to work on the issues facing our district, most importantly the debate on replacing the aging elementary facility.”
He said that Boggs did not specify a reason for her resignation.
An attempt to reach Boggs for comment before deadline was unsuccessful.
