Charles Robinson wants help from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 24, to install batting cages at Veterans Park, Lake Geneva.

Charles is an eighth grade student at St. Francis de Sales School, Lake Geneva, and a member of Lake Geneva Boy Scout Troop 239. His project is part of his effort to become an Eagle scout. Eagle scout is the highest rank in the Boy Scouts.

As a Cub Scout, Charles said, he played in on the Cub Scout baseball team, later, as a Boy Scout, he joined the YMCA-sponsored Cactus League, Lake Geneva Baseball Association Fall Ball and Junior Badgers team.

According to Charles, the cages would be used by baseball and softball players.

Charles is asking for help of scouts, teammates and baseball and softball players in the area

Charles wants help digging holes, setting batting cage supports and pouring gravel.

He said he hopes to have a crew of 10 to 12.
