Area golf

The Badger and Big Foot golf teams took part in the Geneva National invite on April 28 at Geneva National. Badger took eighth place out of 23 teams and Big Foot took 10th. Big Foot’s Craig Halma and Kyle Shoger led the chiefs with scores of 85 and 87, respectively. Tom Schneider led the Badgers with an 86.

The Williams Bay golf team competed at Fox Lake Country Club in a meet hosted by Randolph High School on April 25. The Bay took second with a 174-stroke total. Grand Germano led the Bulldogs with a 38 in nine holes. Adam Lechelt scored a 41, Danny Horrigan a 47 and Jay Germano a 48. The bay is in first place in the Trailways Conference after two meets.

Big Foot/Williams Bay girls soccer

The girls went 2-0 last week with two big wins against Jefferson on April 24 and Clinton on April 28. The Lady Chiefs defeated Jefferson 7-1 and Clinton 7-0.

Area Tennis

The Badger boys tennis team defeated Fort Atkinson 4-3 and Janesville Craig 6-1 to win the Janesville Craig Triangular on April 25. The boys will face conference opponents Burlington on April 29 and Waterford on May 1. Both matches are away.

The Big Foot/Williams Bay boys tennis team went 4-0 this week, defeating Wilmot 6-1 on April 23, and winning the East Troy Quad on April 25. At the Quad, BFWB defeated East Troy 6-1, University Lake School 7-0 and Edgerton 6-1.

Badger boys track and field

The Badger boys track and field team took first place at the Badger Invitational on April 25, out of 12 teams, scoring 127.25 team points.
