Skibitzki helps Augustana women's track to win
Former Badger girls track standout Tracy Skibitzki recently helped the Augustana women's team to the overall title at the Viking Olympics, Rock Island, Ill.
Skibitzki won the 100-hurdles in 15.32.
Augustana finished with 316 points, ahead of Wartburg College's 261.
Title game set in Big Foot
Harpoon Willies, the regular-season champion, will face Team Gordy's in the finals of the Big Foot Recreation District's full-court basketball league Wednesday, April 16.
Harpoon's defeated Competitive Edge 67-62 in the semifinals, while Team Gordy's advanced with a 66-58 win over Ball Hogs.
Competitive Edge will face Ball Hogs in the third-place contest.
Carthage College plans
summer soccer camps
Carthage College, Ken-osha, will conduct two one-week summer soccer camps for boys and girls ages 5 to 18.

Locals compete at state
special olympics event
Several athletes from the Walworth County Adult Special Olympics program recently earned medals at the State Indoor Sports Tournament on the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh campus.
Competing in the basketball skills event were Martin Ingram and Rhonda Nelson, Delavan, first; Thomas Heinsohn, Elkhorn, and Jenna Heisey, East Troy, fourth; and Sandra Olson, Delavan, and Lew Zarnstorff, Elkhorn, fifth.
Finishing third in the Division 2 team basketball competition were James Coleman, Whitewater; Ken and Tom Costello, Lake Geneva; Robert Dahl, Delavan; John Peterson, Elkhorn; Steven Pils, Delavan; Douglas Turner, Delavan; David Weber, Williams Bay; and Archie Wilson, East Troy.
Placing second in Division 10 were Jerry Halboth, Williams Bay; Sadie Hintz, Delavan; Adam Lofy, Elkhorn; Jamison Osborne, Lake Geneva; Daniel Ross, Elkhorn; Vladimir Vargas, Elkhorn; Adam Wolff, Lake Geneva; and Edward Zwieg, Elkhorn.
