The Walworth County Sheriff's Office Fugitive Task Force is seeking help from the public in locating a 44-year-old man who has an active warrant for allegedly sexually assaulting a child.

Michael T. Grant's last known address is on Constance Boulevard in the village of Williams Bay.

Grant, who also goes by Tim Grant, is known to frequent horse shows and has worked as a horse trainer in the past. He could currently be employed as a horse trainer, according to the press release.

On Oct. 7, the Walworth County District Attorney's Office filed two felony charges of repeated sexual assault of a child, according to online court records.

Those are Class B felonies which each carry a maximum sentence of 80 years imprisonment.

"At this time we do not believe Grant has access to a vehicle. He may be getting rides from others," according to the press release. "He is known to frequent the Oshkosh, WI area, as well as the states of Kentucky, Indiana and Minnesota."

This is an extraditable felony warrant and the Sheriff's Department plans to return Grant to Wisconsin to face the charges if he is located. Law enforcement believes Grant is aware of the charges.

The Sheriff's Department said anyone who sees Grant should call 911, but shouldn't take any further action.

Anyone who has had contact with Grant since Oct. 7 or has information about his whereabouts is encouraged to contact the Sheriff's Department.
