A Lake Como man has been charged with his seventh drunken driving offense since April 2003.
If convicted, Kent L. Halladay, N3090 Robin Road No. 7, faces up to10 years imprisonment and $25,000 in fines.
If he is convicted, the minimum sentence is three years imprisonment.
According to the criminal complaint:
Police stopped Halladay's vehicle on July 16 at 12:59 a.m. on Wrigley Drive at Broad Street in the city of Lake Geneva.
Halladay refused all field sobriety tests, but police could smell a strong odor of intoxicants and observed that he had urinated in his pants.
Halladay's speech also was slurred, his eyes blood shot and glassy, he had poor balance and was unable to speak clearly.
Hallady has six prior convictions for drunken driving with offense dates of April 6, 2003; Aug. 21, 2003; July 22, 2006; Nov. 16, 2006; Dec. 19, 2006 and Feb. 25, 2007.
