Lake Geneva Generals hosting open tryout Saturday

WILLIAMS BAY - The Lake Geneva Generals, a semi-pro football franchise entering its third season in the Mid-States Football League, is hosting an open tryout Saturday, Feb. 9, at Williams Bay High School, 500 W. Geneva St.

The combine will run from 4 to 7 p.m. and will include a 40-yard dash, bench press, individual and team drills. For $20, participants can try out and will receive a free Generals T-shirt.

The Generals are looking for players, coaches, staff, cheerleaders and volunteers. New players cost $250 for the season, while returning players are $200.

If you pay your team fee in full, you will get a free sweatshirt.

Team fees include health and life insurance.
