WIAA boys basketball playoffs set

February 11, 2013 | 11:41 AM

It's time for the second season.

The WIAA boys basketball playoffs begin only eight days from now, and area teams found out their fates on Sunday.

Badger opens on the road against a storied program, and Big Foot faces a familiar foe.

Over in Williams Bay, both the Bulldogs and Eagles earned home games.

However, with a No. 4 seed, the 17-3 Eagles may have been deserved a higher spot.

The Southern Lakes-leading Wilmot Panthers, led by first-year coach Jake Erbentraut, a Badger grad, landed a No. 1 seed in Division 2, and the Darryl Rayfield-led East Troy Trojans are a No. 1 seed in Division 3.
