Heads-up to blues fans

Buddy Guy, B.B. King, Jeff Beck, Mick Jagger, Booker T and the MGs and Susan Tedeschi.

That's sort of a Who's Who of blues artists and they played together at the White House recently.

That performance will be shown on public TV tonight at 8 p.m.

The only one I've seen in person is Susan Tedeschi. For my money, she's the best blues guitarist around, male or female. And her gravely voice reminds many of Bonnie Rait.

An added treat: Obama sings too. And it's not just that he's singing the blues over Iran, the economy, gas prices, etc.

Seems like worthy viewing for anyone intrested in great music.
