Technology has lead to a regression of civility.

Technology is useless, for social growth. It is a regression of everything that is civil.
Technology enslaves when used for any other purpose other than simple measures. If you use technology more than personal contact, you are a slave, put it down and set yourself free.
To organize, research, touch base, or emergency...technology is necessary.
To communicate it is not necessary.
