Say What?

Bob, you and Millie don't live in a Village. You live in a city. We have some pretty clear rules when it comes to snow removal. These guidelines are posted on line and you are notified of them when you get your tax bill.

It's about time the city started billing you slackers. Maybe now you and others like you will start removing snow from your sidewalks. People DO use the side walks in the winter time. Whether it be for a walk, taking the dog for a walk, or a means to an end to get some place. Shovel your sidewalk or pay a fine. Its pretty simple.

The rest of us have to shovel our sidewalks. Just because the sidewalk ends at your home or your neighbors home it does not exempt you from your responsibility as a home owner. Perhaps the city should just not plow your street. After all the street pretty much just ENDS at your homes.. So why do it?
