Thank God for you and your wonderful volunteers, Sal!
February 29, 2012 | 10:41 AM

What a wonderful result of a very sad story, Sal. Leave it to you to find all the right answers - it's lovely that the whole family is now together - life will be so much easier now for them. I can imagine the children are so happy to have their mother back in their lives.

The poverty here in Suffolk is very apparent; particularly when one sees the contents of many of the grocery carts at Wal-Mart. It's more obvious than it was in Lake Geneva. In Lake Geneva people quietly suffer until a Good Samaritan/neighbor/friend writes to you to alert you to their need for assistance.

You transform and save lives, Sal! Would that there were people like you with volunteers to help them in every single town and city in this country.

You inspire countless people. I know there are nights when you feel so discouraged and worn out and there must be times when you ask yourself if you can keep on doing what you do. Then I know that your next thought is "If not me, then who...?"

Thank you! Miss you!
