Maybe you should have done some research before posting about GST Steel.

1) The KC plant was down to 750 people from 4500, meaning division was dying already.

2) The decision to sell or close was already made by the time Bain bought it which means Bain kept those people employed for another 8 years.

3) 31 separate steel companies also went under during the time Bain tried to revitalize GST Steel. That's how free market capitalism works, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.

4) Other divisions of GST are alive and well today THANKS to Bain, the only one that closed was Kansas City.

5) Mr. Romney left Bain in 1999, the steel plant closed in 2001.

6) Staples and Steel Dynamics are just two of the success stories where Bain CREATED THOUSANDS OF JOBS.

Perhaps some research would have helped you to not show your ignorance on the subject.

Tom Barrett - Yes, let's vote for the man who by many measures leads one of the worst big cities in the country. Please tell us if this is what he has in mind for the entire state. Also, what exactly is his grand plan for the state? We're waiting....

Is that crickets I hear???
