I fell in love with Dandelion Wine more than three decades ago, when I "had" to read it for my Freshman English class in high school. It was my first introduction to Bradbury, to his beautiful writing that painted pictures for me - of the sights, sounds, flavors and emotions of the past. I think of the book every year as summer begins, and when fall arrives I turn my heart's pages to "Something Wicked This Way Comes." I am sad these days, missing two of my favorite authors ever...first, Maurice Sendak and his wonderful Wild Things, and now, Ray Bradbury. My consolation is that both live on in the hearts and souls of my kids - and hopefully (certainly if I can help it!) my grandkids as well someday.

Hope all is going well for you and the LGRN! Sincerely, Chris Lupella
(I used to work for Southern Lakes Newspapers and interviewed with you and Lisa a year or so ago.)
