Elkhorn — A man accused of molesting two girls was arrested last month in Bloomfield Township by the Walworth County Sheriff's Department and U.S. Marshals.

Michael T. Grant, 45, whose address is listed on court records as N4972 Town Hall Road, Delavan, was charged Oct. 7, 2010 with two counts of repeated sexual assault of a child.

Grant, who also goes by the name Tim Grant, has a previous address on Constance Boulevard in Williams Bay. He previously worked at the Fantasy Hill Ranch in Delavan Township.

Walworth County Sheriff's Capt. Dana Nigbor said Grant was arrested at his sister's home. Nigbor said she believed the Sheriff's Department received a tip that Grant was at the Bloomfield residence.

However, she didn't suspect that Grant was at the location for a long time.

Grant recently waived his right to a preliminary hearing and is scheduled to have a July 6 arraignment.

Grant is in custody in the Walworth County Jail in lieu of a $200,000 cash bond.

According to the criminal complaint:

On May 24, 2010, a girl, who is now 22 years old told police Grant began sexually assaulting her when she was watching his children in October 1998 and continued through the Spring of 2000.

The girl told police Grant acted as if his actions were a joke. When she would ask him to stop, Grant would laugh and say the girl liked it. These incidents allegedly occurred in the town of Delavan.

On June 18, a 28-year-old girl tol police she had a sexual relationship with Grant when she was 15.
