Hess, W1315 Honeysuckle Road, faces not less than three years imprisonment and not more than 10 years. He also faces a fine of up to $25,000. According to the criminal complaint: Hess' vehicle was stopped at 7:39 p.m. on South Edwards Boulevard. When police spoke to Hess he smelled of intoxicants, had blood shot and glassy eyes, displayed poor balance and slurred speech. Hess has previous drunken driving offenses on Sept. 4, 1995; May 20, 1997; Aug. 31, 2001; Dec. 8, 2001, Jan. 1, 2003, and July 6, 2005. Hess was sentenced for the July 6, 2005, drunken driving charge May 30, 2007 and received two years in a state prison and three years of extended supervision. |
