Stang, 1122 Wells St. No. 1, will have to spend six months in the Walworth County Jail with work release privileges. He also must complete 30 hours of community service. According to the criminal complaint: On Aug. 18, police responded to a burglary in progress. A man reported he heard a noise in the upstairs of his home and found a burglar crouching down in the corner of an upstairs room. The man grabbed his phone and ran outside to call police. The burglar fled the house, but was later located by police. Police located Stang, who had a stainless steel watch on him. The man whose home was burglarized said the watch belonged to him. Stang said he stole the watch while inside the home and planned on selling it to his father. |
