The voices of those who have been helped

April 26, 2012

Dear Readers,

I would like to share with you some of the many thank you notes we have received in the past weeks. So many are grateful for our helping hand and I felt you should all know what our assistance means to those struggling in poverty. I thank you from the bottom of my heart daily, but thought you would also like to hear directly from the fellow Americans we have helped to ease the pains of poverty for.

Dear Sal and everyone at The Time Is Now to Help,

My heart is so full of gratitude for the compassion you have shown my daughter. Your caring leaves me speechless! The Lord himself must be delighted with all of you and may God's blessings be returned tenfold. My daughter said to me, "Angels do walk the earth." Thank you and may Gods grace shine upon us all.

We provided this woman's daughter with rent and utility assistance.

Dear The Time Is Now to Help,

As I read in the paper all of the wonderful people whom have given to this organization it reminds me of how good others are. They and the wonderful dentist have blessed us, and my grand-daughter. With your help, I watched her sit in a dentist chair for the first time in her life. As I thought of the blessing from all of you, The Time is Now, I cried. Thanks to you she has signed up for summer school. She wants so badly to learn and you have helped her begin. That will never be forgotten. She is a good young lady and so kind to me, so full of love. God has blessed me to have her. Thank you to all at The Time Is Now to Help for lighting the hearts of a Grandma, Grandpa, and Grand-daughter

We provided rent and utility assistance for these grandparents and grand-daughter. The granddaughter received dental care from a generous dentist. She had never been to a dentist her whole life as they could not afford it.

Dear The Time Is Now to Help,

No one has reached out to me in years. But you reached out to help. That is a miracle. You have no idea how that touched my heart and my soul. A complete stranger that cares about humanity, with many friends who want to help, that actually do something to help. When social security denied me and my unemployment was removed, even though I am legally blind, I cried for a long, long time. I prayed. I looked to God to help me, Jesus to heal my eyes and the Holy Spirit to guide me. A few days later you called. If that isn't a miracle, I don't know what is. Thank you for helping when help was needed the most. I will pray that more people help each other like all of you do. May God Bless You Always

This letter was written by a woman that is caring for two mentally disabled children and several senior citizens. She is slowly going blind from an eye disease. We paid their overdue rent and utilities. We also offered them comfort and reassurance that there are people that care in the world.

Dear The Time Is Now to Help,

Thank you so much for what you and your organization have done for me. You have made a big difference in my life. You have given me the hope and consideration that I needed. I can actually see now thanks to the glasses you provided me. My teeth feel so much better. I have not been to a dentist in over twenty years. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart. May God Bless The Time Is Now to Help.

A woman living with multiple disabilities was provided with rent assistance. We also paid off her payday loans that were used to pay her medical bills. We paid for a long overdue eye exam, glasses, and dental care. This assistance made a major improvement in her quality of life. God Bless all of you for caring and sharing, and making our God's work possible.

Dear The Time Is Now to Help,

Thank you so much for your kind and generous donation for a new wheel chair for me. I was so touched when my friend told me you had purchased this for me that I could not stop crying. You inspire me to want to do the same and be as giving as I can. God is so good and I want you to know that all of you really have changed my life for the better. Your beautiful selflessness fills my heart with so much joy! When I get rich and famous The Time Is Now to Help will be the first organization I donate to.

This was written by a young woman that has been paralyzed her entire life, yet goes to college fulltime and works. She supports herself and lives alone. She is an amazing woman that was being hampered by her old wheelchair. She was continually trapped when it broke down on campus and reliant on friends to rescue her regularly. Her caring friends were holding fundraisers for her for over a year. How could we let this woman that wants so much to succeed be subjected to the fear, danger, and embarrassment of relying on a broke down wheel chair? God Bless all of you for following your heart to live around our author of life, "God".

Dear The Time Is Now to Help,

Thank you for all you and The Time Is Now to Help have done for me and my family. It has allowed me to get gas for my car, buy groceries, and allowed me to keep our lights and heat on. May God continue to bless The Time Is Now to Help.

Dear The Time Is Now to Help,

On Tuesday you had five mattress sets and frames delivered to residents most in need at our elderly/disabled apartment complex. Thank you for donating the beds and organizing the delivery. Your work with local elderly and poverty stricken families is so generous and unselfish, and so many of these deserving individuals seem to have been forgotten. The beds provided to these five individuals may seem a small gesture to a large corporation or politician, but to these five people it is the difference of a healthy night sleep in a safe apartment and warm bed. We cannot express enough our sincere gratitude for the help The Time Is Now to Help provided our residents, and for your continuing mission of serving our local communities' most vulnerable seniors and at risk families. This reminds me of the words spoken by Mother Teresa, "We cannot do great things on this Earth, only small things with great love." Sincerely, Property Manager and Service Coordinator

This letter shows the gratitude from a property manager of a senior citizen and disabled apartment complex. Many of these residents live in great poverty and have never slept on a new mattress in their whole lives. We have provided them this great comfort. And yes, together, "we" do many, many small things with great, great love.

God Bless all of you for helping our fellow creations by removing their pains of poverty. Your help is what makes The Time Is Now to Help so successful in its fight to end the suffering of poverty. Thank you for your caring and sharing for our fellow Americans in desperate need.

Health and Happiness, God Bless Everyone, W.C./Sal
