He was wearing a burgundy or red hooded sweatshirt with a white horizontal stripe on the lower third of the sweatshirt. He also was wearing white sneakers, black gloves and dark blue nylon running pants with a vertical white drop down the side of pants, according to the sheriff's department.

When the suspect approached the bank, his hood obscured his face.

The suspect attempted to enter the front door of the bank and ran toward the Wandawega Subdivision when he found the door locked.

Anyone with any information should contact Capt. Dana Nigbor at (262) 741-4421.

This is the second time this year that the People's Bank has been targeted.

On Aug. 24, at about 2:11 p.m., Walworth County dispatchers received a report of an armed robbery at the People's Bank North.

A bank employee provided police with a description of the robber and his vehicle, and that vehicle was located and a chase ensued.

During the chase, Walworth County Sheriff's Deputy Dan Nichols was placing stop sticks in the road.

The vehicle drove toward Nichols who fired his service weapon at the driver. The driver, Robert Lynn, 29, the town of Bloomfield, was shot in the arm and then taken into custody.
