|  | | |  | | (click for larger version) | September 08, 2011ELKHORN — An 18-year-old Darien Township man who stole a firearm that was later used in a shooting in Walworth Township pleaded guilty Sept. 7 to criminal charges.
Timothy R. Holmes, W7565 Creek Road, pleaded guilty to felony theft of movable property with special facts (because the theft was allegedly of a firearm). A misdemeanor charge of possession of a dangerous weapon by a person under the age of 18 will be dismissed but read into the record.
When Holmes is sentenced Nov. 1 he will face up to six years imprisonment and $20,000 in fines. |

If convicted, Michael J. Stang, 1122 Wells St. No. 1, faces up to 12-1/2 years imprisonment.

|  | | |  | | (click for larger version) | September 08, 2011A 29-year-old Orfordville woman, who drove her boyfriend and another man to a home to burglarize it, was sentenced Sept. 9 to three years of probation.
Lindsay B. Hartin was convicted of felony burglary in Walworth County. In Rock County, she was convicted Sept. 3 of three misdemeanor counts of theft and sentenced to two years of probation.
She also has a Sept. 26 plea hearing scheduled in Vernon County for a burglary charge. |
