Man returns to court in 10 year old rape case

ELKHORN — Although it has been more than 10 years since David Zuccolotto allegedly raped a 13-year-old girl in the basement of a Delavan apartment building, he finally will face the charges filed against him in Walworth County Circuit Court. After being released on bond in 2001, Zuccolotto, 30, who is also known as Sergio Rodriguez, never returned to court. Recently, he was extradited from Texas to Wisconsin. He faces a felony charge of sexual assault of a child under the age of 16 and felony bail jumping. If convicted of both counts, he faces up to 40 years imprisonment and $20,000 in fines.

Woman guilty of theft from school association

Elkhorn — A Darien woman pleaded guilty Nov. 11 to a felony theft charge after she was accused of stealing $32,000 from the Delavan-Darien High School FFA Alumni Association. When Joy C. Becker, 52, 129 Sharon St., Darien, is sentenced Jan. 19 she faces up to 10 years imprisonment and $25,000 in fines. According to the complaint:

Lake Geneva woman receives two years prison for fifth OWI

November 10, 2011
A 28-year-old Lake Geneva woman was sentenced Nov. 11 to two years in a state prison after pleading guilty to her fifth drunk driving offense. Lindsay A. White, 816 Kendall Lane, also was sentenced to three years of extended supervision. She will have to serve 70 hours of community service and pay $4,800 in fines. For the next three years, her driver's license will be revoked and an ignition interlock will be installed into her vehicle.
