March 29, 2012 ELKHORN — Walworth County Judge John Race sentenced a 30-year-old Lake Geneva man to 13 years in prison after a jury found him guilty of sexually assaulting two young girls.
Tyrone L. Lipson, formerly of 250 County Club Drive, Unit G, also was sentenced to 10 years of extended supervision and must register as a sex offender.
During the sentencing hearing, Lipson denied ever sexually assaulting the girls..
March 29, 2012 A federal grand jury returned a two-count indictment charging a 31-year-old Lake Geneva man with possessing child pornography.
Donald J. Vanderbloomen has been charged with receiving child pornography and being in possession of it. If convicted of both charges, he faces a possible sentence of life in prison.
According to an FBI press release, count one alleges that in approximately April 2007, Vanderbloomen received on his computer images and movies constituting child pornography. The second count alleges that Vanderbloomen possessed child pornography.
