WALWORTH — Big Foot High School will compete in the Wisconsin Newspaper Association’s state Civics Games finals Feb. 23 in Madison.
On Saturday, Feb. 2, numerous schools around the state competed in the regional Civics Games.
The Milwaukee-area regional Wisconsin Civics Games, in which Big Foot is a part of, were cancelled.
Last week’s frigid temperatures caused school disruptions, which prompted several schools to withdraw from the competition.
Only two schools remained — Big Foot and Muskego High School.
Both schools will compete against the two top-scoring teams from the four other Wisconsin regions.
