Elkhorn man pleads guilty to sexual assault

ELKHORN — A 43-year-old Elkhorn man pleaded guilty Nov. 21 to sexually assaulting a child more than a decade ago.

When Ronald J. Vyskocil, 213 W. Sunflower St., is sentenced Feb. 10, he faces up to 40 years imprisonment.

Vyskocil also faces three felony charges of first-degree sexual assault of a child in Waukesha County, each of those counts carry a maximum penalty of 40 years imprisonment.

According to the criminal complaint:

A 21-year-old woman reported to the Delavan Police department that Vyskocil sexually assaulted her when she was 7 years old.

The woman said the assaults occurred in 1997 when Vyskocil lived at the Abbey Way Apartments in Delavan.

She said another incident occurred at Central Printing in Delavan, where Vyskocil was employed. She said the assault occurred when the business was closed.

Police interviewed Vyskocil who admitted to assaulting the girl at Central Printing in Delavan. He told police he thought the girl was 8 or 9 at the time.

He also told police the girl seemed “awfully knowledgeable” about what to do.

He also said he assaulted her in his apartment in Delavan, but told police the girl controlled what occurred stating he “just let her call the shots.”

Vyskocil also told police when the girl was 8 or 9 they attended a church service together in Oconomowoc and he fondled her at the church.
