If that's the case, I want my $20 back. Just because you have the money doesn't mean you should or have to spend it. God forbid it gets saved for a project that's worthy and might benefit everyone. God forbid we refund the money and stop the tax. So what happens next year or the year after when another "drop in the bucket" project comes along that costs more than this? That $300k might look pretty good....
