most people spend $20 a week on coffee... this facility at $300,000 would cost only $30,000 per year for 10 years, the same as mowing three ball fields according to national statistics.

And how do you POSSIBLY find a project than can benefit everyone? Creating infrastructure for the greater good of a community is benefiting everyone and this park passes that test for me. I don't play football, can I opt out of paying for that? Tennis? I never walk on the manicured paths in town how about I "uncheck" that box on the ballot next year... What about when my kids are grown (and don't come back) can I stop paying for the schools? If I buy a fat 4x4 can I stop contributing to snow plowing?

I've been to a place where curmudgeons go to escape the changing times, it's called Florida.
