The proposed skatepark is concrete and, as I said before, would be maintained the same way as any other City park including the existing field in which it will sit (which is already mowed and maintained). The concrete itself should need no maintenance and the builder should be held to task on creating something manageable. City Hall needs maintenance, right? The roads? Again, the local ball fields and playgrounds, which were probably built with TIF funds, at some point do become a tax burden but it should be limited.

As for entry fees I suggest it be built using the same tax money, and have the same rules, as every playground and open space in town. Playgrounds and ball fields don't have fences or fees...
