"This is well worth doing," Alderman Terry O'Neill said May 23. "The Paddock Lake park is used. This is one of the things we're missing."
Interesting comment that everybody wants a Dog Park. But a Skateboard Park for young Human Beings to use is out of the question. There is no need for it, it is not essential to the community. Yet a place for dogs to run and do their duty is.
My questions are: 1) How much is this park for dogs going to cost? 2) Who is going to maintain it and at what expense? 3) Will there be a need to have on site supervision? 4) Why should the taxpayers pay for baggies so the dog owner can clean up? They should supply their own bags and scoopers. 5)What happens to the park if Hillmoor reopens?
