Just reading your comment tells me there is no problem attracting people to the area and local businesses. Yes there is a problem with parking. But for as long as I can remember there has always been a problem and I am in my middle 50's. If the city would just look at many of the streets in the business district they would find several that are wide enough to put at least on one side diagonal parking slips. Also as I suggested some time before if they were to take each north to south street west of Broad street and turn them each one way north to dodge and widen them just enough to allow diagonal parking on one side they would increase the amount of parking in the business district and if they were to put up meters the revenue would increase as well.
