Nothing personal but I don't think it is in the best interest to hire anyone associated with the past four years of Bulldog Football. Not that they didn't do everything they could to be successful, because I am sure that they did, but a clean break from that staff, including Diehl, is a must. The kids need a fresh start and hopefully they can find a candidate capable of putting this program back together.

Many of the people currently involved are going to say the conference is tougher, etc... but back in the 90's the Bay played Johnson Creek every year and won every year. Now Creek routinely sits near the top of the Trailways Small Division and the enrollment at WB has nearly doubled since the 90's so none of those excuses hold much truth. This was once a very competitive, some might say dominant, program and I am confident it can come back with some new guidance.
