New Sk8park

The Gov. is not there to entertain us, though often times they do just that. However, you believe this is for entertainment.....Well thank you for your attempts to bring our society ten steps back! This is certainly the issue at hand, nobody believes these "extreme sports" as real sports. Only these sports are growing, and will continue to grow. The sky is the limit for these “extreme sports”, and are they extreme only because the idea is unknown and “extreme” to some. Cities will spend hundreds of thousands on new baseball lights or for a new football field. How are these so different? If the government did not pay for the football and baseball fields then who? One day these “extreme sports” will be part of the curriculum in our schools. The attention needs to be paid, and sooner or later you will be left without choice. These sports will grow and just like any other sport, if you don’t like it then don’t watch! As far as the new park isn’t it better to lead rather than follow, as Lake Geneva always has. Lake Geneva’s existing bike/skate park was one of the first in the area, and soon after its completion many others followed. This new park will bring other renovations to surrounding parks, of that I am certain. This is serious to those who believe in it! Thank you for your time, and I look forward to your negative feed back ;)
