Instead of complaining about taxes, or fireworks, which by the way, I love and support. We should be concentrating on being a community. What's done is done, you can't change the past. I bet at least 90% of our community has at least an hour or two to spend volunteering a month. They simply need to be asked. I am sure most of us had no idea the Mud Hens were in such need. The volunteer information needs to be organized and visible to everyone not just at venues such as town meetings. Get local organizations involved. By working together we can make our community great, AND save on the taxes .
