Golden Years has proven themselves to be a model corporate citizen for many years, and continues to provide stable jobs for a good number of people in this area. Walworth won't see a new library for many years, so sell the Austins the land and recoup some village investment. One block difference won't affect anything in the greater scheme for that area.

As to the eventual demise of Heyer Park, it has to happen. The traffic patterns established decades ago no longer serves today's transportation needs.
