Geneva Township police are investigating a burglary that occurred before 3 a.m. Jan. 11 at N3338 Rosewood Road.

Owner Jerome V. Grzanka reported stolen a Play Station 2 game system with "several games," $100; a 32-inch television set, $100; and a camera, $15.

According to the police report, someone kicked the back door open to gain access. A cleaning person discovered the television set stand had been knocked over and called police.

Police report accidents

Police reported two accidents this week.

Police stated Jamie J. Leska, 22, N2262 Wilderland Trail, lost control of a 2000 Ford Mustang at 2:44 a.m. Dec. 27 after she drove onto Highway 50 from the parking lot of Foley's Bar and Grill, W3905 Highway 50.

According to the report, the Mustang drove through a median, struck a county highway sign and came to rest in a ditch.

The Mustang sustained moderate damage to its front, rear, passenger's side, rear driver's side and undercarriage.

Police stated Marci L. Nance, 35, Elkhorn, drove a 1987 Ford van that struck a legally parked 2000 Chevrolet truck in the parking lot of Lakeland Medical Center, W3985 County Highway NN.

According to the report, the van drove into the lot, stopped and backed into the truck, which is registered to Nicole M. Peterson, Burlington.

The van sustained minor rear-end damage.

The truck sustained moderate rear-end damage.
