The following individuals were either recently charged in Walworth County Circuit Court or recently made their initial court appearance.

  • Jessica Dudek, 31, Crystal Lake, Illinois, has been charged with identity theft and obstructing an officer during a traffic stop in the town of Lyons. If convicted, she faces up to six years and nine months in prison and $20,000 in fines.
  • Joseph C. Gutierrez, 28, Silver Lake, has been charged with battery by prisoner for allegedly attacking another inmate at the county jail in Elkhorn. If convicted, he faces up to six years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
  • Christian E. Hanson, 23, Whitewater, has been charged with three counts of uttering a forgery and misdemeanor theft. If convicted, he faces up to 18 years and nine months in prison and $40,000 in fines.
  • Amber L. Keener, 34, Walworth, has been charged with possession of narcotic drugs, possession of an illegally obtained prescription and possession of drug paraphernalia. If convicted, she faces up to four years and one month in prison and $11,000 in fines.
  • Matthew S. Morris, 38, Milwaukee, has been charged with attempting to flee or elude an officer, hit and run, operating while revoked, possession of THC, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of an illegally obtained prescription, following an alleged traffic incident in the town of Darien. If convicted, he faces up to six years and one month in prison and $15,500 in fines.
  • Garrett J. Nickel, 37, Janesville, has been charged with bail jumping for allegedly driving a car in Whitewater in violation of a court order. If convicted, he faces up to six years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
  • Arin Dee O’Donnell, 26, Twin Lakes, has been charged with injury by intoxicated use of a vehicle, operating while intoxicated causing injury-second offense, operating with prohibited alcohol concentration causing injury-second offense, and knowingly operating a motor vehicle while revoked-injury, following a car crash in Bloomfield. If convicted, she faces up to 28 years in prison and $55,000 in fines.
  • Thomas A. Polk, 49, Lake Geneva, has been charged with operating while intoxicated-seventh offense and operating while revoked, following a traffic stop in the town of Bloomfield. If convicted, he faces up to 13 years and six months in prison and $27,500 in fines.
  • Donald J. Puchalski III, 25, Burlington, has been charged with four counts of manufacture/delivery of THC, possession with intent to deliver THC, maintaining a drug trafficking place, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. If convicted, he faces up to 31 years and one month in prison and $80,500 in fines.
  • Jeff M. Stasiak, 39, Lake Geneva, has been charged with physical abuse of a child and strangulation and suffocation, allegedly involving a 15-year-old child in the town of Linn. If convicted, he faces up to four years in prison and $20,000 in fines.
