Green beer for St. Pat's Day

There will be plenty of shamrocks and shenanigans this St. Patrick’s Day weekend.

Area resorts, restaurants and businesses have numerous events, specials and other activities planned for the March 17 holiday.

Below is a listing of some of the area’s St. Patrick’s Day-related events.

Friday, March 15

St. Patrick’s Day weekend-long celebration begins at 4 p.m. at The Rock Bar, N1530 Powers Lake Road, Bloomfield. Friday fish fry, beer and drink specials.

Saturday, March 16

Irish favorites will be offered for lunch and dinner, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., at the Lookout Bar & Eatery at Lake Lawn Resort, 2400 E. Geneva St., Delavan.

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with Irish breakfast, lunch and dinner at Pier 290, 1 Liechty Drive, Williams Bay. Live music by Danny & Kerry from 1 to 5 p.m., and Un-hich’D from 7 to 11 p.m.

The fourth annual St. Pat’s Super Bash is from 2 p.m. to midnight at New Horizons, 214 S. 7th St., Delavan.

Prize of $100 to the best dressed leprechaun, corned beef and cabbage served for a small donation to the Lakeland Animal Shelter and live music.

The Mike Stone Jazz Trio plays at 2 p.m., BCT at 4 p.m., the Mike Stone Band at 7 p.m. and the Spliffs at 9 p.m.

Corned beef and cabbage, Reubens, Irish soda bread and more starting at 4 p.m. at The Rock Bar, N1530 Powers Lake Road, Bloomfield.

Live music by Four Wheel Drive from 8 p.m. to midnight.

Prime rib buffet featuring corned beef, cabbage, Shepherd’s Pie and more from 5 to 10 p.m. at 240° West in The Abbey Resort, 269 Fontana Blvd., Fontana.

Price is $32 for adults, $18 for ages 6 to 12, and $8 for ages 2 to 5.

St. Patrick’s Day celebration and dinner at 6 p.m at the Holy Communion Episcopal Church, 320 Broad St., Lake Geneva. Tickets are $12 for adults, $6 for children, under 6 is free.

St. Patrick’s Day party begins at 5 p.m. at The Southern Stop, N1083 Highway U, Bloomfield. Corned beef, 50 cent wings, green beer and live music by Sweet-T starts at 7 p.m.

Sunday, March 17

St. Patrick’s Day breakfast from 8 to 11 a.m. at Lookout Bar & Eatery, Lake Lawn Resort, 2400 E. Geneva St., Delavan.
