In both of the Badger boys basketball team's final two games of the regular season, the team fell by the same margin, losing to both Wilmot and Waterford by nine points.
Against Waterford on Feb. 21, Badger had a slight lead at halftime, 21-20. The Wolverines seized control in the second half, though, outscoring the Badgers by 10 for the nine-point victory.
The game against Wilmot was the opposite.
Badger got outpaced by the Panthers 44-28 in the first half. But Badger bounced back in the second with a 42-35 advantage over Wilmot.
A pair of Badgers had huge scoring days against the Panthers. Junior Grant DuMez led the team with 28 points, including four three-pointers, and senior Kale Rodgers scored 23 with five threes.
