After a 5-year hiatus, the Expect a Miracle path is back along the Geneva Lake shore path with inspirational quotes written on a fence lining the path. Carolyn Gable, the founder of the Expect a Miracle Foundation and president and CEO of New Age Transportation is the woman behind the inspirational path.
She previously had a home along the path between Downtown Lake Geneva and Stone Manor where walkers could come and read the quotes. But after she moved, the quotes were painted over. Now the quotes have returned to a new area along the path between Big Foot Beach and Linn Pier, just a few houses down the path from the Geneva Inn. There is also a guest book that visitors can sign and a bell to ring. The bell reads, “Ring the bell, expect a miracle.”
